step : apply polish to the polishing pad. step : start polisher at low speed. start the polisher at a low speed ( on the dial),
making sure to press the pad against the car before switching the machine on. allow
the polish to load into the pad and distribute over the surface area before increasing
speed.
step : Distribute polish over the work area. Distribute the polish over the work area.
if you don’t, the polish will sling off of the pad. you can dab it, as i have done here, or
smear it.
step : increase speed and work the polish into the surface of the paint. Work the
polish into the paint. Keep the polisher flat, and apply firm pressure, but do not com-
press the pad more than 0-7%. use slow, smooth back-and-forth and up-and-
down sweeping motions.
