nicom’s Dyna-Switch/24 is the affordable and efficient way
to upgrade your network. With 10/100Mbps ports, the Dyna-
Switch/24 offer everything a small office environment would
need in a convenient, desktop package.
This switch will fit neatly on a desktop or can be rack mounted
with the included mounting brackets. The powerful Dyna-
Switch/24 has dedicated 10/100Mbps bandwidth and the
full-duplex operation mode effectively doubles the band-
width for each port. This can increase the bandwidth of
10Mbps Ethernet port and the 100Mbps fast Ethernet port to
20Mbps and 200 Mbps, respectively. To enhance the packet
transmission, this switch support IEEE 802.3 full-duplex flow
control and half-duplex back pressure congestion control.
Most hubs and switches are designed with one uplink port to
cascade other hubs or switches. Now, the Micro-Switch/5
supports new MDI/MDIX technology - each port can be either
a normal port or an uplink port offering an automatic cross-
over function to either 10Base-T or 100Base-TX allowing you to
use either a pin-to-pin or crossover cable with no worry.
