H AUDIO
Selects the audio language of the DVD video or the audio
channel setting of the video CD and super video CD.

I SHIFT
While holding down SHIFT, press a button below to
enable the corresponding operation.
SW +/–: Adjusts the subwoofer channel volume on the
AVC-S30.
CENTER +/–: Adjusts the center speaker channel volume
on the AVC-S30.
SURR +/–: Adjusts the surround speaker channel volume
on the AVC-S30.
ANGLE: Selects the disc viewing angle. (page 16)
ZOOM: Selects the zoom setting. (page 15)
REPEAT: Enables the Repeat Play mode. (page 12)
A–B: Enables the A-B Repeat mode. (page 12)
J qVS (Dolby Virtual Speaker)
Turns on/off the DVS mode on the AVC-S30.
K DUAL MONO
(Taiwan model only)
Switches audio outputs (main audio and sub audio) on the
AVC-S30 when multiple audio signals are input into the
AVC-S30.
L , (Skip)
Skips to the start of current track or next track. (page 11)
Press and hold
to fast reverse or to fast
forward disc playback. (page 11)
M (Stop)
Stops disc playback. (page 11)
N SETUP
Displays the Setup menu on the TV.
O RETURN
Returns the disc menu to the previous screen. (page 16)
P MUTE
Turns off the volume on the AVC-S30.
Q VOLUME +/–
Adjusts the overall volume level volume on the AVC-S30.
R NIGHT
Turns on/off the Night Listening mode volume on the
AVC-S30.
S INPUT buttons
Select an input source volume on the AVC-S30.
L/R buttons
While a test tone is output volume on the AVC-S30, press
L to set the orientation of the virtual surround speaker (L),
and press R to set the orientation of the virtual surround
speaker (R).
