The subwoofer automatically places itself in the standby mode if it does not receive an input signal for 7 or 8 minutes.
(The power indicator lights in red.) This is called AUTO STANDBY function.

When the subwoofer detects a bass signal input of below 200 Hz, it automatically places itself on. (The power indicator
lights in green.)

1

Press the STANDBY/ON button to set the subwoofer in the standby mode. (The power indicator goes off.)

2

Select the following positions of the AUTO STANDBY switch.

- LOW: Normally select this position to activate this function.
- HIGH: If this function does not operate with the AUTO STANDBY switch set to LOW, select this position so that the
subwoofer detects input signals with a lower level and switches the power on automatically.

3

Press the STANDBY/ON button again to set the subwoofer on. (The power indicator lights in green.)

Notes
• This function operates only when both the POWER switch and the STANDBY/ON button are set to ON.
• The time period before the subwoofer places itself in the standby mode may vary due to a noise received from other

appliances.

• If the subwoofer switches the power on unexpectedly by receiving noises from other appliances, set the AUTO

STANDBY switch to the OFF position to deactivate this function.
