System Configuration: Administration menu
A. At the Press the number of your selection prompt, press 2 to select the “Initial
Setup wizard” process.
The wizard takes you to the following system configuration screens to make entries:
Configure network interface LAN1
Configure network interface LAN2
Configure default gateway
Configure DNS servers
Configure host name
Time Zone regional setting
NOTE: See the Network screens for LAN Settings and Regional Setting in Step
1B for content included in the wizard screens.
B. After making all entries using the wizard, press X to return to the System Configura-
tion screen. Or, to verify the status of the ProxyBlocker and review the entries you
made using the wizard, press 1 to view the System Status screen.
NOTES: Changing your password using option C, “Change administration
password”, will change the password for the console menu but not the ProxyBlocker
console login screen. Option A, “Reset system to factory defaults”, should only be
used by an 8e6 Technologies technical representative.
