Module Description The 9-port 1000BASE-SX Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2 Switching Module
(Model Number 3CB9LG9MC) for the CoreBuilder
® 9000 Enterprise
Switch can switch Gigabit Ethernet (GEN) connections to corporate
backbones and servers. The module has nine 1000BASE-SX GEN front
panel ports. It has the following number of backplane ports for
connection to the 24-port and the 9-port GEN Switch Fabric Modules:
The 9-port Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2 Switching Module (9-port GEN
Layer 2 Switching Module) includes its own embedded management
agent that supports standard Simple Network Management Protocol
(SNMP) Management Information Bases (MIBs).
