OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE ELECTRICITY MAINS BEFORE

FITTING OR REMOVING SINGLE ATTACHMENTS OR BEFORE CLEANING THE APPLIANCE.

- Place the motor base (F) on a flat, steady surface. Make sure that the surface is easy to clean.

- Fit the filter holder (C) on the base (F). Make sure that the spout (D) is fitted to the recess (Fig. 2).

- Place the stainless steel filter (B) inside the filter holder (C), pressing it gently downwards and

turning it until it snaps into place (Fig. 3).

WARNING: The filter (B) has small, very sharp blades to chop up the food. Be very careful when

putting in the filter. Risk of injury!

- Fit the pulp collector (H) beneath the rear edge of the filter holder (C) (Fig. 4).

- Place the lid (I) so that the side tabs fit perfectly into the slots on the filter holder (C) (Fig. 5) and

make sure that it perfectly covers the pulp collector (H) by pressing it down gently.

- Lift the locking bar (E) upwards and secure it in place over the lid (I) by pressing it until it snaps

into place in the clips on the left and right of the lid (Fig. 6).

WARNING: Before each use, make sure that the appliance and all its parts have been correctly

assembled; otherwise the appliance will not start.

- Place the previously prepared food into the special food chute (L) and place a container under

the spout with drip-proof opening (D). During operation, the spout needs to be kept down to allow

the liquid to come out. When juicing has finished, the spout can be raised to prevent any residual

liquid from coming out (Fig. 7).

WARNING: Peel any fruit with hard or inedible skin (melons, mangos, kiwis, etc...).

WARNING: Before starting the juicing process, remove all stones or large seeds from the fruit

(oranges, peaches, apricots, plums, cherries, etc...).

WARNING: Always wash fruit and vegetables thoroughly.

- Place the pusher (A) into its housing (L) (Fig. 8).

- Plug the appliance into the wall outlet.

- Set the on/off dial (G) to «1». The motor will start up. For a higher speed, turn the on/off dial (G)

to «2».

- Slide the pusher (A) into its housing (L) and press it down it gently towards the filter (B).

WARNING: Avoid putting too much food into the appliance or exerting too much pressure on the

pusher (A).

WARNING: This appliance has not been designed to operate continuously. Leave the motor to cool

after every 2 minutes of interrupted operation.

- After treating the first batch of food, repeat the above steps for more juice or remove the con--

tainer.

- If the appliance is to continue to operate perfectly, the pulp collector (H) must never be allowed to

become too full. Empty the collector when necessary:

- switch off the appliance by moving the on/off dial (G) to «0» and unplug it from the mains elec--

tricity.

- Gently tilt the pulp collector (H) to one side and carefully remove it from under the pulp guard.

- Empty the pulp collector (H) and refit it carefully beneath the rear edge on the filter holder (C) (Fig. 4).

NOTE: To make it easier to clean the pulp collector (H), place a plastic bag inside it. This will also

help to prevent the pulp from splashing over the edges of the container.
