Dismounting the appliance

Remove the safety cap from the locking bolt.

Undo the locking bolt on the wall mounting bracket.

Lift the appliance up slightly and pull it forwards and away from
the wall mounting bracket.

9.4 Power

supply

Ensure the on-site supply cable has an adequate cross-section.

»

Ensure a socket or junction box for a permanent power supply
is installed at a distance of at least 10 cm from the side of the
appliance.

DANGER Electrocution!
Carry out all electrical connection and installation
work in accordance with relevant regulations.

DANGER Electrocution!
The appliance must be able to be separated from the
mains power supply by an isolator that disconnects all
poles with at least 3 mm contact separation.

DANGER Electrocution!
Do not install the appliance with a fixed power cable.

Observe the type plate. The specified voltage must
match the mains voltage.

With a permanent connection, connect the three-core cable to
an appliance socket as follows:

There are 3 possible ways to connect the appliance:

1 Appliance connection without control cable:
Unregulated appliance. The control cable is not connected. In this
case, insulate the control cable.

2 Temperature setback via the control cable:
To reduce the temperature set at the thermostat (by 3 °C), the black
control cable is activated via an external electronic contact, e.g.
via a time switch.

3 Connection of the control cable to a control device:
You can connect the appliance to any control device that issues the
waveforms given in the following table as control signals.

The power cable must only be replaced by a contractor using our

Explain the functions of the appliance to the user. Draw special
attention to the safety information. Hand the operating and
installation instructions to the user.
