64 Sit the iron on its heel.
65 Put the plug into the power socket.
66 Wait till the light goes off.
67 Hold the iron over the basin or bowl, with the soleplate down.
68 Press the C button, and keep it pressed in.
69 Gently move the iron to and fro.
70 Water and steam will wash scale and dust through the soleplate.
, Keep clear of the escaping water and steam.
71 Carry on till the reservoir is empty.
72 Release the C button.
73 Unplug the iron, and sit it on its heel to cool.
74 When it’s cold, wipe off any moisture, and wind the cable round the heel.
75 Store the iron on its heel, to avoid corrosion and damage to the soleplate.
C CLEANING
76 Unplug the iron, and sit it on its heel to cool.
77 Clean the outside surfaces of the appliance with a damp cloth.
78 Remove spots from the soleplate with a little vinegar.

e ANTI-SCALE
80 The anti-scale agent incorporated in the iron helps prevent the build-up of scale.
81 Don’t use a descaling solution, or you’ll destroy the anti-scale agent.
