5.2.1 Installing Software
If you have an olde r version of the PenMount W indows 2000/XP driver installed in your system, please
remove it f irst. Follow the s teps below to in stall the PenMount DMC 600 0 W indow s 2000/XP driver.
1. Please make s ure your PenMount 6000 device had plugged in adva nce. If your device uses RS232
in terf ace, please plugged in befo re the machin e is turned on. W hen the sys tem first detects the
c ontroller board, a s creen appears that shows
“U nknown De vice”. D o not use this hardware wizard.
Press C ancel.
