For first responders and industrial applications alike, cellular
data has become an integral part of communication in the
field. This essential element of your communication system
should not be inflexible and costly; rather it should be
flexible depending on your needs and reduce long term
costs. That is why Acura Embedded Systems has developed
the AcuConnect 2, a wireless management system that
allows the owner to use any cellular provider’s Express,
PCMCIA, or SIM data card.
The AcuConnect 2 also acts as a router, through both wired
connections and Wi‐Fi or cellular antenna
within 400 feet.
This allows multiple vehicles to be networked together at an
incident scene and communicate important information.
