4. Connecting the AC power cord (Option)

The AC adapter (option) provides external power source to your Panel PC. The
AC adapter (option) also has an auto-switching design that can connect to any
100VAC ~ 240VAC with 50 ~ 60 Hz power outlets.

a. Plug the AC power cord into the power socket of the AC power
adapter(option).
b. Plug the other end of the AC power cord to a live AC wall outlet.
c. Plug the connector of the AC adapter (option) to the DC(+12V)-IN port found at
the bottom side of the Panel PC. Please make sure to rotate the lock screw
tightly for firmly attaching to the DC-In socket. At the same time, the Power LED
at face panel lights up green. (Figure 2)


5. Switching on the power (Figure 3)


The Power button is found on the left bottom on the rear side of the Panel PC.
Press the Power button to start your panel PC and check that the Power LED
lights on to green on the front panel. (Figure 2)

6. Ferrite Core Installation (Option)


EMI is the radiation that is a byproduct of electrical or magnetic activity. It can
lead to data loss, picture quality degradation on monitors, and other problems
with your PC.


The internal circuits of personal computers generate EM fields in the RF range.

The ferrite core (as showninFigure1) is a specialized component used as line
filters that can be installed in Adaptor cords to reduce the EMI and improve the
susceptibility


To install the ferrite core on the Adaptor cord, please obey the steps as follows:

1. Find a flat surface to position the ferrite core and Adaptor cable


2. Open the ferrite core by your finger.

3. Place the Adaptor cable into the opening ferrite core by keepingthe80

mm length from the adapter connector.
