About Safety Cameras

Safety camera information is available

in some locations. Go to

http://

my.garmin.com

for availability. For

these locations, the device includes

the locations of hundreds of safety

cameras. Your device alerts you when

you are approaching a safety camera

and can warn you if you are driving

too fast. The data is updated at least

weekly, so you always have access to

the most up-to-date information.

Reporting Safety Cameras

You can report safety cameras,

including red light cameras and radar

guns, as you encounter them.
1. From the map, select .

2. Under Report Safety Camera,

select an option:
My Direction.
Oncoming.

The location of the safety camera is

shared with other users.

About Safety Camera Scouts

A scout is a driver with the ability

to report on the location of safety

cameras, which helps to keep safety

camera data up-to-date and accurate.

The Scouts data field displays the

number of scouts within a certain

distance, and may include a star rating

of the scout reports.

Viewing Scout Information

1. Select View Map.
2. Select any data field except Speed.
3. Select Scout Information.
