Installation Instructions
Note: The hinge may need to be spaced up so the deck
clears the edge of the
 atbed when in the tipped position.
1. Position the deck of the SC3000/SC3001 on the
 atbed, be sure the hinge
(61-6378) is placed close to the edge of the
 atbed, so when the deck is tipped to
unload, the deck won’t hit the edge of the
 atbed.
2. Note: The side of the hinge plate with the slots needs to be down on the
 atbed with the hinge towards the outside (See Diagram).
A. Mark the four outside slots of the plate onto the
 atbed.
B. Before drilling out holes, be sure to check underneath the
 atbed to be
sure there isn’t anything in the way.
C. Using a 13/32” drill bit, drill out the four slotted holes.
3. Bolt the hinge to the
 atbed using four 3/8-16x2” carriage bolts (201-0020),
3/8”
 at washers (203-0003) and 3/8-16 hex nylon lock nuts (202-0090) as shown
in the diagram.
4. Position the hinge guide (61-6381) right next to the cushions on the other end
of the deck. Mark the two holes onto the deck, but be sure to check for clearance
before drilling. Drill out the two holes using a 13/32” drill bit.
5. Bolt the guide to the
 atbed with two 3/8-16x2” carriage bolts (201-0020), 3/8”
 at washers (203-0003) and 3/8-16 hex nylon lock nuts (202-0090).
6. Bolt the deck of the SportLoader to the hinge using six 3/8-16x1” carriage
bolts (201-0034), 3/8”
 at washers (203-0003) and 3/8-16 hex nylon lock nuts
(202-0090).
