Good outcomes begin with a solid plan. Starting with facility planning and
feasibility studies, we can help identify the best ways to collect and treat
wastewater. With a facility plan in place, HR Green helps develop that plan in
ways that minimize risk and maximize reward. Our engineers make accountable
decisions in the planning and design of collection and conveyance systems, lift
stations, storage and treatment plants.
We have also completed several wastewater treatment facility improvements
projects for clients with issues such as aging treatment infrastructure,
higher design fl ows, complying with current and future NPDES permits, and
implementation of improvements to match funding.

Even the best laid plans can unravel without solid leadership during construction.
We offer a variety of construction models to satisfy schedule, budget and legal
requirements. These include providing more traditional construction services
while a project is under construction through the traditional design-bid-build
process, or, we can team with construction partners to expedite the construction
of facilities using alternative delivery methods. In any case, our goal is always the
same – a project delivered on time, within budget, and according to plans and
specifi cations.

One of an owner’s biggest challenges is fi nding the funds to improve and expand
wastewater infrastructure. Our funding specialists partner with facility owners to
identify sources and secure funding that meets the need. Strategies range from
tried-and-true sources – grants, loans, bonds, rate adjustments – to today’s
emerging new alternatives, such as public-private partnerships (P3). Through

The operator’s perspective informs everything we do, including design. After
your facility is running, we’re there to help effi ciently maintain the viable operation
of collection, treatment and conveyance systems. HR Green offers system
modeling, GIS, and on-call troubleshooting services, responding expediently
to challenges as they arise. We also offer contract operations and operator-of-
record services for industries, utilities, and municipalities that prefer to outsource
these functions.
