This surge protector limited warranty includes a general product warranty and a connected equipment warranty.
warranties contained within this document are valid only in the united states and Canada.

General Product Warranty

OmniMount Systems, Inc. (“OmniMount”) warrants to the original purchaser or original user only (“you”) of this OmniMount surge protector product, that this product will be free from
defects in materials or workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”). This Warranty is not transferable to others. If you discover a defect in
the materials or workmanship of your OmniMount surge protector during the Warranty Period, you may obtain warranty service by contacting OmniMount at 1-800-668-6848 (United
States) or 480-829-8000 (Canada). Please note that OmniMount reserves the right to inspect any defective product and that all costs associated with shipping a defective product to
OmniMount shall be borne solely by you and you shall bear any risk of loss or damage to the product while in transit. Additionally, to obtain warranty service, you must provide proof of
date of purchase. Warranty service requests made without proof of date of purchase will be denied.
Connected Equipment Warranty
In addition to the General Product Warranty described above, your Connected Equipment Warranty provides limited reimbursement to you for damage caused to equipment connected to
the surge protector by a transient voltage surge/spike (“Occurrence”). This Warranty shall apply only for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase and only to damage occurring
while the equipment is properly connected through your surge protector (see Proper Installation, below). OmniMount reserves the right to inspect the damaged surge protector and/or the
damaged equipment, and the site where the damage occurred. All costs of shipping the damaged surge protector and/or damaged equipment shall be borne solely by you and you shall
bear any risk of loss or damage to the product while in transit.

Proper Installation

To be eligible for reimbursement under the Connected Equipment Warranty, all equipment must be properly installed. For your equipment to be “properly installed”, all conditions contained
within this paragraph must be met. The OmniMount surge protector must be plugged into a properly grounded 3-wire AC outlet. Extension cords and/or non-grounded two prong adaptors
must not be used. Building wiring and other connections to protected equipment must conform to applicable codes (NEC or CEC). No other ground wires or ground connections may be
used. All wires (including, e.g., AC power lines, signal/data lines, coaxial cable, antenna lead-ins) leading into the connected equipment must first pass through a single OmniMount surge
protector. The surge protector must be connected directly to the power source and must not be “daisy-chained” together in serial fashion with other surge protectors or power cords. The
surge protector and the equipment to be protected must be located indoors, in a dry location, and within the same building. All OmniMount surge protector installation instructions and
warnings must be followed.

Remedy

If upon examination by OmniMount it is determined that the surge protector unit is in fact defective, OmniMount will, at its option 1) repair or replace the product at no additional charge, or
2) if the model is no longer available and cannot be repaired effectively, replace the unit with a current model of equal or greater value. OmniMount will bear the cost of returning the
repaired or replacement product to you, freight prepaid. All replaced parts and product will become the property of OmniMount. If OmniMount determines that you are entitled to
reimbursement under the Connected Equipment Warranty, OmniMount will, at its option, 1) pay you the present fair market value of the damaged equipment, 2) pay for the cost to repair
the damaged equipment, 3) send you replacement equipment, or 4) pay you an amount equal to the value of replacement equipment. However, the total value of reimbursement for
damaged equipment under the Connected Equipment Warranty will not exceed the following maximum amounts of reimbursement, which vary by OmniMount surge protector model:
OESP10: $20,000.00
Please note that the foregoing are your sole and exclusive remedies under this Limited Warranty. If the product / equipment is not found to be defective / damaged, OmniMount will contact
you to arrange to return the product / equipment to you, at your expense.

Limitations on Connected Equipment Warranty:

The Connected Equipment Warranty will NOT apply if:
• The surge protector and/or damaged equipment in use during the Occurrence are not provided to OmniMount for inspection upon OmniMount’s request.
• OmniMount determines that:
o The damaged equipment was not connected to the surge protector at the time of the Occurrence

o The surge protector has been improperly installed, altered, or tampered with in any way
o The damage did not result from the Occurrence or no Occurrence took place

• The damaged equipment is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, service contract, or insurance. Coverage under the Connected Equipment Warranty is secondary to any applicable
warranties, service contracts, and all other insurance.
• OmniMount determines the connected equipment was not properly installed and/or was not used under normal operating conditions or in accordance with labels, warnings and
instructions.
• The Occurrence is due to low voltage disturbance (i.e. power brown outs or sags)
• OmniMount is not permitted to promptly inspect the site where damage occurred.

Limitations on General Product Warranty and Connected Equipment Warranty:

Warranty service requested under the General Product Warranty and/or the Connected Equipment Warranty will NOT cover the following:
• Service charges and costs associated with the installation or re-installation of the connected equipment.
• Loss of software, media, stored information, or data of any kind.
• Loss of business profits, business interruption, or downtime.
• Damage associated with sustained over-voltages, vandalism, theft, normal wear and tear, obsolescence, abuse, misuse, non-authorized alteration or catastrophic events.
• Incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of this surge protection product, including without limitation all freight, mileage, travel time, and insurance
charges associated with coverage claims.
• Product purchased, serviced, or used outside of the United States or Canada.

THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESSED AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES. OMNIMOUNT EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH
OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-
INFRINGEMENT.

Notwithstanding the above, where applicable, if you qualify as a “consumer” under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, then you may be entitled to any implied warranties allowed by law for
the Warranty Period. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied Limited Warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
