Post-Storage Plate Cleaner and Restorer
Description: Designed for use as a general cleaner and restorer for plates coming out of long term
storage. RE-NU removes hardened gum and plate oxidation, and brings plates back
to press ready condition. This product contains a unique blend of ingredients that
will effectively desensitize the non-image area and provide quick, clean startups. RE-
NU is also an excellent plate cleaner for scumming, tinting and toning on press.
Directions for Use: Hand:
Pour a liberal amount of RE-NU onto a dampened sponge or rag and apply to the
entire plate surface for about 1 minute or until unwanted ink sensitivity is removed.
Follow-up with a water or fountain mix rinse.
Apply a gum or finisher such as RBP’s Plate Finisher & Preserver to protect the non-
image area for an extended period of time.
