2% Mild Acid Fountain Concentrate for Brush Dampening
Description: A mild acid fountain solution for use in the coldset and heatset applications. LIQUID
GOLD 2000 is designed to be used on presses equipped with brush and spray
dampening systems. This product allows for more stable ink and water settings,
excellent desensitizing of the non-image area, and additives that fight blanket
buildup. LIQUID GOLD 2000 is specifically designed to produce cleaner sharper print
quality with fewer toning and emulsification issues, while maintaining low water
settings. This fountain concentrate contains a unique blend of components to fight
ink build up and feedback issues.
Directions for Use: Mix 2% or 20 ml of LIQUID GOLD 2000 to each liter of water. Increase dosage if plate
sensitivity is occurring. Decrease dosage if ink emulsification or roller stripping is a
problem. The conductivity will increase by 775 micromhos/cm over the water’s
conductivity for each 1% of added LIQUID GOLD 2000 .
