LIQUID GOLD™ 1400
Mild Acid Fountain Concentrate
Description: A mild acid fountain solution for use in the coldset and newspaper market. LIQUID
GOLD 1400 is designed to be used on presses equipped with brush and spray
dampening systems. This product allows for more stable ink and water settings,
excellent desensitizing of the non-image area, and additives that fight blanket
buildup. LIQUID GOLD 1400 is specifically designed to produce cleaner sharper print
quality with fewer toning and emulsification issues.
Directions for Use: Mix 2% or 20 ml of LIQUID GOLD 1400 to each liter of water. Increase dosage if plate
sensitivity is occurring. Decrease dosage if ink emulsification or roller stripping is a
problem. The conductivity will increase by 1100 micromhos/cm over the water’s
conductivity for each 1% of added LIQUID GOLD 1400 .
