The following procedures describe the necessary work required for removal and replacement of the Dana Tire Pressure

control unit from the vehicle. Follow removal procedures in Dana TPCS Service Manual (AXSM-0010). This work
covers cleaning of PCU components only in cartridge areas. If a complete PCU cleaning is determined necessary or
desired, follow procedures in service manual under PCU cleaning.

brake cleaners, or solvents containing Xylene, or Methyl Ketone is not recommended.

NOTE: If cartridge o-rings are damaged during re-assembly, the o-rings themselves can be replaced. The o-rings are
not provided separately by Dana, however, they are available from most o-ring suppliers. See cartridge detail for
specific size and material information.
