TPCS Air Seal Replacement
Affected Models: All TPCS Drive Axle Wheel Ends
Identification: Original or early production used a unitized air seal assembly enclosed in a metal case. This single
assembly has been replaced with the current design using 2 individual air seals. In addition, a flat washer has been added
to each air seal retaining screw.

Refer to AXTS–0020 Troubleshooting Guide and Service Manual for proper removal / installation of hub.
The illustration below shows the individual air seals installed in the hub. Note that the 2 identical seals are installed with
the oil sides facing away from each other (rubber sides facing toward each other). O-rings are supplied for use in hubs
with existing o-ring grooves.
