INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Before use, consult your owners manual for maximum vehicle towing capacity and
recommended towing procedures.
Installation:
1. Remove factory center tow hook if equipped. If your Jeep has the driver side tow hook, it can
remain on the vehicle.
2. Be certain that the rear cross member where the hitch will be mounted is flat, clean and free of
any damage.
3. Install receiver hitch onto the center of the rear cross member with the four, 4-1/2” bolts and flat
washers provided. There are four factory holes there that are designated for the receiver to
mount to. Do not final tighten the bolts until all four have been inserted and hand-tightened.
Once all the hardware is in place, tighten the bolts to 80 ft./lbs.
4. There are provisions designed into the hitch for mounting of the tow wiring plug. Choose the
adapter that fits your application the best.
5. Installation Complete - Your new tow hitch receiver is now installed. Before each use, check
all bolts for tightness.
