INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WAR 525
Bumpers are designed to fit over factory front frame horns and use existing
factory mounting holes.
1. Remove old bumper from vehicle. Save all bolts, you will need them in step
three (3). If you have lights on your stock bumper and wish to put them on your
new bumper, mark bumper for drilling and mount before installing.
2. Be sure that area where bumper will be mounted is flat and free of any damage.
3. Install new bumper with factory hardware removed in step one. Do not tighten bolts at this
time.
4. Mark front cross member for drilling of two (2) holes located on hitch receiver.
Drill for clearance of 7/16” bolts. These bolts and nuts are provided.
5. Remove bumper and drill cross member. Use safety glasses.
6. Install bumper using existing bolts on the frame horns tighten to factory
specifications. Install both 7/16” bolts, nuts, and washers, torque to 45ft/lbs.
7. Install license plate on right front using factory bolts.
8. After initial test drive, check all bolts for tightness. Before each use of receiver,
check all bolts for tightness.
