Differential Guard
Installation Instructions
IMPORTANT: In some cases, you may not be able to install your diff guard without breaking the silicone seal on your
differential. In this case, you will need to follow your normal fluid change procedure and re-seal the cover as you install
your Warrior Differential Guard.
INSTALLATION
1. Begin by holding your differential guard up against the cover to identify which bolts you will need to remove to
install the cover.
2. Once identified, remove the bolts.
3. Some kits will include stainless steel allen head hardware. If your kit did not, you will re-use your factory
hardware.
4. Hold the differential cover into place and begin threading the bolts back in.
5. Tighten all bolts so they are very snug so you get a good seal.
6. If you have re-sealed your diff cover, allow adequate time for your silicone sealant to set and dry, refill your gear
oil, and drive to warm up your differential.
7. Once you’ve heated up your differential, park and let it cool. At this time, it is a good idea to re-check the bolts to
make sure they are still tight.
