1575 WINDSHIELD WASHER NOZZLE RELOCATION KIT

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

07-13 JK WRANGLER

Please read through the entire instructions before beginning. The 1575 Windshield Washer Nozzle Relocation Kit can be
utilized when hood hinge accessory mounts have obstructed the factory hood-mounted windshield washer spray nozzle. It is
a bolt on kit that relocates the nozzle from the factory position on the hood to a location within the cowling vent at the base of
the windshield.

INSTALLATION:

1. Open and prop up the hood. Carefully remove the washer hose from the nozzle fitting being careful not to break the

delicate plastic parts.

Lightly squeeze the front clip on the bottom of the nozzle and push/tilt it rearward up off the

hood. Take a clean, soft cloth and wipe down both mounting surfaces around the hole. If there are plastic clips that
hold the washer hose to the firewall and hood, disconnect the washer hose from them now.

2. The washer with stud will be the cover plate for the nozzle hole in the hood. Utilize a thin layer of silicone (not

provided) on the mounting surface of the washer and set through the center of the nozzle hole. Alternatively, you
could trim out a small round piece of gasket material such as bicycle inner-tube rubber and put that into place. Place
the 1” washer over the stud from the inside of the hood and snug up the #10-32 Star Nut to hold into place. It helps
to have an assistant to hold the delete plate into place while you place the washer and thread on the star nut from
under the hood.

3. Next we’ll prep the cowl area for mounting the Nozzle

Relocation Plate. (Although it is not required to remove the
cowl panel from the vehicle to perform any part of this
installation, it is infinitely easier if you do.)
Observe Fig. 1 and
note the plastic grid panel within the center cowl that needs to be
trimmed. Clip out the white high-lighted area with a pair of wire
cutters.

4. Take the nozzle you previously removed from the hood

and insert it into the Nozzle Relocation Plate. (Fig. 2)
Place the assembly onto the plastic grid panel with the
hose connector passing through the trimmed area.
Utilize the #10 button head screws, washers and star
nuts to affix the bracket onto the plastic grid. (Fig. 3)
