When you are mounting VEGATOR 532 Ex with Ex approval in a carrier,
you have to use a VEGA Ex module.

In Ex applications, a protection of IP 20 must be maintained. Cover the
gaps or free modules from the front with appropriate blind covers.

Keep a distance of at least 2 TE (10 mm/0.4 in) from the module cards
of other manufacturers.

If you want to mount VEGATOR 532 Ex in the complete left position in
the carrier, you have to mount a blind cover with at least 4 TE (20 mm/

The Ex separating chamber must be plugged in before starting with the
setup of the Ex versions of VEGATOR 532 Ex.

The Ex separating chamber is part of module 33/Ex-33.

Safe operation can be only ensured if the operating instructions
manual and the EU type approval certificate are observed. VEGATOR

532 Ex must not be opened.

You can find further information on mounting the Ex separating
chamber in the operating instructions manual of the module (module
33/Ex-33).

All signal conditioning instruments are provided with different gaps
dependent on type and version (mechanical coding).

The module is provided with coded pins that can be inserted to prevent
accidental interchanging of the various instrument types.

The coded pins are part of module 33/Ex-33.

With a VEGATOR 532 Ex in Ex version, the supplied coded pins (type
coded pins and Ex coded pin) must be inserted by the user according
to the below chart.
