A lign the sensor in such a way that the polarisation marking on the
sensor flange is in the same plane as the tube holes or the tube
connection openings (see illustration: "VEGAPULS in a bypass tube").

1 Marking of the polarisation direction
W hen the sensor is mounted on a bypass tube, the distance from
VEGAPULS 66 to the upper tube connection should be approx.
500 mm (19.69 in) or more. In case of extremely rough tube inner
walls, you should use an inserted tube (tube in tube) or a radar sensor
with tube antenna.
