Retaining ring

Measure the diameter of the standpipe or bypass tube and adapt
the spacers accordingly. The markings on the 4-leg spacer ensure
a simple tailoring to the tube diameter DN 50 (2") and DN 80 (3").
For cutting, use a metal saw or strong pliers.

The spacer should be mounted to the lower edge of the probe rod.
If several spacers are necessary, you should mount them at a
distance of approx. 2.50 m (8 ft). Determine where the spacer
should placed and mark the position.

Slide the retaining ring (2) to the rod of the probe.

Tip:
Wear gloves when sliding the parts to the rod or use a thin tube section

Slide the spacer (1) and another retaining ring (2) to the rod of the
probe.

The retaining rings fix the spacer in the requested position.
