With the serial number, you can access the delivery data of the instru-

ment via www.vega.com, "VEGA Tools" and "serial number search".

In addition to the type label outside, you can also find the serial num-

ber on the inside of the instrument.

3.2 Principle of operation

VEGACAL 69 is a level sensor with fully insulated double rod probe

for continuous level measurement.
The electronics functions according to the admittance principle

(phase-selective admittance processing).
It is designed for industrial use in all areas of process technology and

can be applied in all areas of industrial process measurement.
Fully insulated double rod probes such as VEGACAL 69 are prefer-

ably used in liquids and non-conductive or non-linear vessels.
Due to the insulation, the probe can be mainly used in aggressive or

corrosive products.
The double probe does not require an additional ground surface.

Probes and measured product form an electrical capacitor. The

capacitance is influenced by three main factors.
