ake sure that all parts of the instrument exposed to the process, in

particular the sensor element, process seal and process fitting, are
suitable for the existing process conditions. These include above all
the process pressure, process temperature as well as the chemical
properties of the medium.

.2 Mounting preparation

he radar sensor can be mounted in two different ways:

l

with a mounting strap

l

via a collar or adapter flange.

T

he mounting strap enables easy mounting on the vessel wall or silo

top. It is suitable for wall, ceiling or boom mounting. Especially in open
vessels, this is a very easy and effective way to align the sensor to the
bulk solid surface.
