ASME flanges In the same pressure class (Class) flanges of CS steel
can withstand higher pressures than flanges of material
316L. Flanges of measuring instruments are often made
of 316L. If VEGAPASS 81 is manufactured of CS steel
(ASTM A106, A106), then you select a flange (316L)
with higher nominal pressure (Class) for the measuring
instrument used.
