Getting started --- LUCOM router

Quick setup

If you have bought a VEGA SIM card, then all necessary parameters are already set and the
instruments immediately ready for use without any configuration work.

If you want to use an own SIM, the following steps must be carried out:

1. Push the Reset button (left side front plate) for approx. 5 seconds. Then the router has again

the original status without VEGA-specific configurations.

2. Connect the signal conditioning instrument via the Ethernet interface to the router by using

an Ethernet cable (attached) The ETH connection must be used on the router. The
connection Port1 remains free.

3. Deactivate the PIN in the SIM card (preferably with a mobile phone). If this is not possible,

then the PIN of the SIM card must be entered in the router via the WEB user interface (see
chapter “Enter PIN in router“). Then insert the SIM card into the SIM slot of the router and
connect to power supply.

4. VEGAMET 624 in PACTware: Set under the menu item “Device settings - LAN/Internet“ the

address assignment to DHCP and then restart.

5. Now the WEB-VV event is set up in PACTware under the menu item “Device settings – Event

list“.

6. To check the communication between signal conditioning instrument and WEB-VV server

move with the right mouse key to the WEB-VV event and select “Test”. When the
transmission was successful, then the following message appears: Data transmitted
successfully.

Chapter “Enter SIM-Pin“

They should be in the range between 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.255. The SUBNET mask is:
255.255.255.0, DNS and Gateway are both specified with 192.168.1.1
(IP-address of the LUCOM router).

Also here: Do not forget the RESTART after the change.
