4. Features

5. Use

Refer to the illustration on page 2 of this manual.

 Switch on the scale with the ON/OFF button [E].

 Select the appropriate unit (kilogram, pound or ounce) with the

unit button [D]. The unit is indicated on the display [B].

 Hold the handle [A], and attach the load to the hook [F]. Holding

the plastic housing while weighing will affect the accuracy.

 Lift the load off the ground. The weight is indicated on the display

[B]. Wait to read the weight until the load is stable and HOLD is
indicated on the display. When the display shows Err, the load

exceeds the capacity of the scale.

 Use the tare button [C] to reset the scale to zero with attached

load (e.g. container for weighing bulk).

 Press and hold button [C] to display the tare weight (in kg). To

clear the display, press the ON/OFF button [E].

 The scale will switch of automatically after about 2 minutes when

no activity is detected.

 When the low battery indicator is displayed, replace the batteries.

 Remove the batteries when the device is not used for a long time.

6. Battery

 To replace the battery, slide the battery cover on the back of the

scale open.

 Insert three new AAA-batteries in the battery compartment. The

polarity is indicated inside the compartment.

 Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries and do

not throw in fire as they may explode.

WARNING: handle batteries with care, observe

warnings on battery casing. Dispose of batteries in
accordance with local regulations.
Keep batteries away from children.
