Use the device with the appropriate current (see Technical Specifications below).

Lighting effects are not designed for permanent operation: regular operation breaks will prolong their life.

Do not shake the device and avoid brute force during installation and use.

Select a location where the device is protected against extreme heat, dust and moisture. Respect a
minimum distance of 0.5m between the device’s light output and the target surface.

Do not use the device if the ambient temperature exceeds 45°C.

Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it. Do not allow operation by
unqualified people. Any damage that may occur will most probably be due to unprofessional use of the
device.

Use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.

All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.

Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to short circuits, burns, electroshocks,
lamp explosion, crash, etc. Unauthorised use automatically voids the warranty.

Installation

Only fit or replace a lamp when the device is unplugged from the mains.

Let the lamps cool down for at least 10 minutes before replacing them.

Replace a deformed or damaged lamp with a lamp of the same type.

Do not install lamps with a higher wattage as they generate higher temperatures than those for which the
device is designed.

Use R80 230V/60W lamps with an E27 socket. Use any colour you like : LAMP60B (blue), LAMP60G (green),
LAMP60O (orange), LAMP60R (red), LAMP60V (violet), LAMP60Y (yellow)

Procedure
1.
Unscrew the lamp from the lamp holder (counter clockwise).
2. Remove the old lamp, insert the new one and fix it by turning clockwise.
3. Close the housing.
Remark: do not operate the device when the lamp holders are open.

Mounting the device

Have the device installed by a qualified person, respecting EN 60598-2-17 and all other applicable norms.

Make sure there is no flammable material within a 50cm radius of the device.

Have a qualified electrician carry out the electric connection.

Operation

Connect the device with the mains through the power plug.
It is not recommended to connect lighting effects with dimming packs.

Set the power switch to ON.

Adjust the music sensitivity with button SOUND and the running speed with button SPEED.
The device will start to produce colourful light flashes to the rhythm of the music via the built-in
microphone.

Cleaning and maintenance

All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.

The housing, the lenses, the mounting supports and the installation location (e.g. ceiling, suspension,
trussing) should not be deformed, modified or tampered with e.g. do not drill extra holes in mounting
supports, do not change the location of the connections…

Mechanically moving parts must not show any signs of wear and tear.

The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain the
device.

Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.

Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.

There are no user-serviceable parts, apart from the lamp and the fuse (see Installation above).

Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
