5. Installation
•
First draw the desired pattern(s) on the installation location. Make sure that the bending radius is not
smaller than 4cm.
•
When applicable, attach the mounting channels (not incl., order code RLLFMC) according to the
pattern.
•
When necessary, cut the light rope.
Note: only cut the rope on the markings (one every meter).
•
Place an end cap (RLLFEC) on the end of the rope. When using outdoor, seal the end cap with
silicone, place a heat-shrinking tube over the end cap and shrink it to ensure water can not enter the
light rope.
•
Connect the power cable (RLLFPC) to the light rope. When using outdoors, seal the cap with silicone
(both sides), slide a piece of heat-shrinking tube over the connection and shrink it.
•
Mount the light rope.
•
Connect the power plug to a suitable mains outlet.
6. Cleaning and maintenance
•
The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain
the device.
•
Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
•
Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
•
There are no user-serviceable parts, contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
