PMR4AP – PMR4SET ACCESSORY PACK

1. Introduction

Thank you for buying the PMR4AP. Read this manual carefully before bringing the devices into service. If it was
damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.
The PMR4AP should come with: 1 adapter, 1 pair of earphones, 1 twin-set charger, 8 rechargeable batteries and this
manual.

2. Charging Instructions

1)

The PMR4AP twin-set charger can either charge 2 PMRs simultaneously or one single unit only.

2)

Insert 4 rechargeable AAA (Ni-MH) batteries (1.2V each) in the PMR(s).

Connect the Twin-set charger to the adapter and plug it into an AC outlet. The red light will light up indicating

the Twin-set charger has powered on.

4)

Put the PMR(s) into the Twin-set charger. The green light will light up indicating the unit is in charging mode.

5)

The green light blinks indicating charging is complete (after about 14±3 hours).

3. Caution

Use the supplied adapter to avoid damage to the PMR(s).

Make sure the batteries are correctly placed into the PMR(s). Check the polarity of both the batteries and the
PMR(s).

Do not expose the adapter to rain or moisture to avoid the risk of fire or electric chock.

Do not operate the adapter if it appears to be damaged in any way, and do not disassemble it.

Charging time will be different when using different rechargeable batteries.

The power cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, use another adaptor.

Do not try to charge non-rechargeable batteries as it may result in severe damage, e.g. battery explosion.

Do not short circuit the charging terminals.

Make sure to use the correct PMR4AP accessory pack.

Green LED on: Charging
Green LED blinking: Charging complete
