device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.

2. Safety Instructions

Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer
will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

All modifications of the device are forbidden and any ensuing damage is not covered by the warranty.

Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.

Protected the device against extreme heat, dust and moisture.

1. 220VAC/12VDC adapter

3. UTP cable (2 x 5m included)
4. motion detector (1 included) or smoke detector or reed switch

(1 included)

5. key switch, motion detector, smoke detector or reed switch.

4. Preparation


1.

Place the SIM card in your mobile phone. Deactivate the PIN

code (see your mobile phone’s user manual).

2.

Erase all Telephone numbers on the SIM card.

3.

Remove and replace the SIM card.

4.

Enter the phone number to which the CU2101 must call in case

of an alarm into memory 1.

5.

Remove the SIM card from the mobile phone and place it in the CU2101.

6.

Program the alarm telephone number of the CU2101 which must be dialled into your mobile phone. Name that
telephone number (e.g. Alarm Unit).

7.

Connect a 12VDC/5mA power supply through either a power adapter or a battery. Never connect a battery
charger loading the CU2101 with a battery.

8.

Connect the included UTP cable.

9.

Switch on the CU2101. The red LED lights. Switch off the CU2101.

10.

Connect the orange wire of the UTP cable to the COM of the sensor. Connect the orange/white wire of the UTP
cable to the NO. The CU2101 will now dial the programmed telephone number. Accept the call and break off the
connection.
