Batteries

Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire as they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge
non-rechargeable batteries (alkaline). Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep
batteries away from children.

When broadcast power becomes insufficient, replace the batteries with 8 new ones.
Note: always replace all the batteries at once.
1. Put the megaphone in stand-by mode (mode switch [4] set to SPEAK; speak button [19] not pressed or

locked, broadcast trigger [5] not pressed).

2. Release the battery compartment lock [7] and open the cover [9].
3. Take out the battery holders [8] and remove the batteries.
4. Insert 8 new 1.5V C batteries (LR14C, not incl.) in the holders (4 per holder) in accordance with the polarity

markings printed on the holder. Hold the battery holders with the rimmed edges down, so the batteries do
not fall out. Only use batteries of the same type and brand.

5. Place the battery holders back into the battery compartment, rimmed edges first, and following the polarity

markings inside the compartment.

6. Close the cover [9] and push the battery compartment lock [7] down until it is secure.

Operation

Using the Speak function
Warning:
Never point the cone directly to people or animals at close distance (<10m); temporary or
permanent ear damage may occur.
1. Place the mode switch in the SPEAK position.
2. Point the cone towards the audience.

Take the microphone and press and hold the speak button, then speak in the microphone.
You can also press and push the speak button upward to lock it in the speak position.
Note: the closer the sound source to the microphone, the better the sound.

3. Adjust the volume if necessary: turn the volume control wheel upward to increase the volume. Turn it

downward to decrease the volume.

4. Release the speak button to end broadcast.

Using the Siren function
1.
Place the mode switch in the SIREN position.
2. Point the cone towards the audience.
3. Press the trigger to sound the siren.
4. Release the trigger to end.

Playing a sound file from a USB stick or SD card
1.
Place the mode switch in the USB/SD position.

The LED indicator lights up when using a device with usb, sd card or aux.

2. Connect a USB stick or an SD card to the device.

You can also connect a device through the AUX input.

3. Press the M button to select the source.
4. Press the play button to play the file.

To skip to the next track, press button [15].
To return to the previous track, press button [14].

o

To increase the volume, press and hold button [15].
To reduce the volume, press and hold button [14].

Cleaning and Maintenance

All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.

Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.

The housing and visible parts should not be deformed or tampered with.

There are no user serviceable parts. Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.

Remove the batteries from the device if it will not be used for a long time. Old batteries can begin to leak
and damage the device.
