5. Overview

Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.
Note: Status LEDs are hidden under the transparent buttons [3, 4 and 5].

6. Use

Before use
• Unscrew the rear of the flashlight.

• Insert a micro SD card (not incl.) into the card slot [6]. Refer to the

indication next to the slot for the right direction. Only use a new card from
a reliable brand.

• Make sure the camera is switched off and connect the USB-port [7] to a

powered USB port using the included cable. The LED turns blue. After a
few seconds the blue LED turns off and a red LED starts flashing slowly.

The battery is now being charged. Make sure the battery is sufficiently
charged before use.

• When the battery is full, the red LED will remain lit. Disconnect the

flashlight from the USB port to avoid overcharging.

• To set date and time, create a text file on the root directory of the

camera. The file must be named tag.txt and its content must be

formatted as indicated below:

• Once the device is disconnected from the USB port and restarted, the new

date and time settings will take effect. Make sure to disconnect the device

from the USB port in the appropriate manner. The file tag.txt will
automatically be deleted.

Using the camera
• Make sure to screw the rear cap back in place before using the camera.

• To switch the camera in standby mode, press and hold the on/off button

[4] for ±5s. The LED under the power button turns blue and when
initialization is finished it turns red. The camera is in standby mode.

Note: when the SD card is missing or faulty, the red LED will flash.

• When no button is pressed for 30 seconds, the camera will automatically

shut off to save battery power.

• Press the record button [4] to start recording. The status LED starts

flashing blue (interval ±1s) while the red LED remains on. Press the
record button [4] again to stop recording. The blue LED flashes 3 times

shortly before switching off.
