To switch between measurements in °C and °F, open the battery cover (7). Just
below the measurement trigger (6), a small switch is located. Move this switch gently
to the left (for °F reading) or right (for °C reading) without touching any other internal
parts of the thermometer. Close the battery cover (7). The setting is shown in the
display (F).

Hold the meter by the handle grip (8) and point the IR sensor (1) towards the surface
of which the temperature needs to be measured.

Pull and hold the measurement trigger (6). The display (2) lights up and shows the
current temperature (I) and the maximum temperature (H).

During measurement, the word ‘SCAN’ is visible in the LED display. When the
measurement stops, the word ‘HOLD’ is shown. The last measured value will remain
on the display until the measurement trigger (6) is pulled again, or when the
thermometer powers-off automatically (after ± 7 seconds).

The maximum measured value of the current measurement is always shown in the
display (H).
