Light Link Series 2

Features

Advanced GaAs RF hybrid technology provides excellent
performance with four individually amplified high level out-
puts with more than 50 dBmV each at 870 MHz or 1000
MHz.

Suitable for NTSC/PAL analog television transmission,
together with DVB digital television and DOCSIS cable
modems.

Configurable options with one forward receiver or two AB
switching forward receivers and one, two, three or four
return transmitters to suit fibre protection switching and
return path segmentation.

Optional plug-in panel for 4 equalizers to achieve individual
equalization of each RF output port.

Auto-ranging power supply for 38 Vac to 90 Vac coax feeds.
With dedicated KS 5/8? AC input port. No power inserter
needed at the node.

Return pilot for easy alignment and node status monitoring.

Return path lasers are available for 1310 nm or for CWDM
applications in the range of 1510/1530/1550/1570 nm.

Series 2, deep fibre Optical Distribution Node

ODN4P is a prime building block for high performance net-
works, designed for adaptability, scalability and optional return
path segmentation. The configuration options are well suited for
Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) networks with smaller nodes and
very high traffic handling capability for Internet and telephony.

This node employs advanced modular technology to provide a
cost effective and flexible solution for expanding network archi-
tectures.

The optical distribution node may be configured with up to two
optical receivers, two return path optical transmitters and two
power supply units, hence providing network redundancy. The
node incorporates four high RF outputs up to 870 MHz or 1000
MHz.

The ODN4P utilizes the latest in fibre optic technology to
emerge as the final active component in the fibre network.
Designed for fibre-to-the-curb (FTTC) deployment, this node is
also well suited for the last mile in fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP)
applications.

The forward path has redundancy capability with fully automat-
ic AB switching where the forward control model is optioned.
Return path ingress control can be achieved by remotely mut-
ing the associated return RF port.
