Adaptive IP Contribution via the Internet

The EN-91P is an ultra-low delay 1080P MPEG 4 AVC/H.264
high definition encoder. To fully leverage the ultra-low
delay mode, Adtec’s RD-60 or RD-70 (1080P) IRD must be
paired with the EN-91P to deliver picture-to-picture
services in 33 milliseconds or 1 frame. The EN-91P’s
standard and low delay modes are fully interoperable with
third party IRDs making it ideal for cross brand
installations; often times, the EN-91P can deliver lower latencies with third party IRDs when compared to use with their matched
brand encoder. MPEG 4 AVC is significantly more efficient compared to JPEG making it the CODEC of choice for multiplexed and
bandwidth sensitive applications; AVCs interoperability significantly adds to the value of solutions based on this industry standard
CODEC.

The lightweight EN-91P platform offers amazing reliability, features and specifications all in a 1 RU chassis. Starting with its
redundantly powered chassis through its enhanced control and monitoring via a browser, SNMP or its front-panel through its award
winning video support including SD, 2D-HD and 3D and 4K synchronous AVC encoding plus our industry first sixteen channel phase-
aligned audio, robust VBI support, reliability and ease of use for an extraordinary value. In addition to encoding phase aligned audio,
the EN-91P pass-through support includes PCM, Dolby E (16 and 20 Bit) and Dolby Digital (2.0 and 5.1).

The EN-91P encodes and concurrently transports services via ASI, IP and DVBS/S2. The DVBS/S2 modulator is available in IF or L-band
with modulation modes ranging from QPSK up to 32APSK with 5% roll-off based on software licenses.
