Troubleshooting

1. The gauge power will not turn on: Please check the brown wire and black wire. Make sure that the voltage
is correct, at 12V.

2. When starting the engine or while riding, the clock resets: High voltage parts and HID lights can cause this
problem. Wrap aluminum tubing around each wire connecting to the gauge and ground it to the motorcycle.
And/Or, the battery may be weak. When the battery is lower than 6V, the clock will stop working. Charge the
battery or change.

3. The display is fogging up: The gauge itself is weather proof but the display sheet is attached with double-
sided tape in order to make replacement easy when scratched. Do not try to detach the screen; let it air dry.

4. The gauge display freezes: The gauge may freeze when too much vibration is on the gauge. If this happens,
hold down the MENU + SET buttons together for 3 seconds to reset. If this does not reset the gauge, take the
grounding wire off and turn the engine off to reset.

5. Moving the gauge: Do not move the gauge around vigorously while installing and in use. Forced movement
of the power wire may rip the rubber to make the gauge non-weather proof.

6. The display is changing colors or is close to transparent: This can occur with hot temperatures or sitting in
direct sunlight for long periods of time. To fix, place the gauge in a cool place.
