Slip-On Muffler - Yamaha Bolt
WARNING: This installation requires lifting of the motorcycle. Serious
injury can result from an improperly secured motorcycle. Ensure that the
motorcycle is securely supported during this procedure.

INCLUDED IN THE KIT:
(2) M10 x 1.25 x 20mm Black Zinc Hex Flange Bolts
(1) Stainless Muffler Clamp
(1) Worm Drive Clamp for Heat Shield
(1) Black Ceramic Heat Shield
INSTRUCTIONS:
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Secure bike on a lift. Unscrew O2 sensor plug from stock exhaust.
2. Remove the 3 bolts from the stock exhaust bracket to the frame (not from the exhaust to the bracket).
3. Loosen the clamp from the stock slip-on muffler and remove the stock slip-on muffler. The stock exhaust
gasket will be re-used on your new slip-on.
4. Feed the clamp into the back of the supplied heat shield. Refer to image A. You want to make sure its fed
through the same way as shown, otherwise it will be near impossible to tighten after installation.
5. Slide the heat shield w/clamp over the new slip-on muffler. Then slide the supplied muffler clamp over the
end of the pipe and install stock exhaust gasket. Refer to image B for clamp orientation.
6. Slide new slip-on over header and line up the bracket to frame mounts.
7. Using the supplied bolts, fasten your new slip-on to the frame.
8. Tighten the clamp that secures the muffler to the header. Rotate and adjust shield for best visible
appearance and tighten its worm clamp to secure it in place.
9. Check all bolts and clamps are tight, and installation is complete. Re-tighten bolts after first few rides.
