Baron Fiberglass Fenders
Hints, tips and precautions on installation and use of Baron Fiberglass Fenders
• Pre-fit all fenders BEFORE you paint them.
• Fenders can be trimmed/cut with a cutoff tool or dremel.
• Check clearance on lowered rear suspensions with the rear fully collapsed.
• Check front fender for corner clearance, forward control clearance, tool bag clearance.
• Check rear caliper for clearance (rear caliper can be relocated on some models).
• Check tire clearance.
• Are you frenching-in lights or license? Check the clearance.
• Drill any holes you need for seat mounting, pillion brackets, luggage mounting, light mounting, fender
trim, rear racks, license mounting, etc. prior to painting.
• Sand gel coat with 320 grit and prime.
• Finish sand primer with 400 wet/dry paper and apply base coat.
Pre mount fender before you paint!
