INSTRUCTIONS:

NOTE: The Baron Velocity Stack is not intended for daily driving. The filter may not provide adequate protection
from dust or debris.

Barons Velocity Stack will replace your existing air filter assembly. Remove your stock air filter housing per
standard Yamaha shop manual procedures. Remove two of the rubber grommets (with metal sleeve) from the
OEM filter housing mounting tabs and install these into your new Baron Velocity stack mount bracket.

Slide the Velocity Stack over carb throat. Line up mounting bracket holes with mounting locations on cylinder
head and fasten with supplied chrome mounting hardware (supplied chrome spacer goes between Velocity
Stack mount bracket and mounting location on rear cylinder head).

NOTE: If mounting to a stock Road Star carburetor, leave adapter ring installed in Velocity Stack. If mounting
to an aftermarket carb, remove adapter ring prior to slipping Velocity Stack over carb.

We recommend the installation of a crankcase breather filter for the oil breather line that was originally routed
into the stock airbox.

For engine to run properly, you must re-jet carburetor accordingly to allow for the increase in airflow. We
recommend a Baron Road Star Jet Kit for this application.

If Velocity Stack is ever unscrewed and removed from its mounting bracket for any reason, it will be necessary
to apply a small amount of blue Loctite to Velocity Stack threads prior to reinstalling it into mounting bracket.

Our install guides provide a basic outline on the proper installation of our products. Further tuning and/or

fitment may be required. Barons bears no responsibility on installation costs associated with this product.
