SLIP-ON MUFFLERS - Yamaha V-Star 1100
Please read all instructions prior to installation. Use the Yamaha Service
Manual for information on how to remove the stock exhaust.

INCLUDED IN THE KIT:
(2) M6 x1.0 Flange Nuts
(2) M6 Chrome Flat Washer
(2) M6x12 Chrome Button Head Screws
(2) Baron Nasty Boy Mufflers
(4) Pipe clamps w/hardware (27-56)
TOOLS REQUIRED:
6mm allen wrench, 10mm socket 10 & 12mm Wrench
INSTRUCTIONS:
Important: Do not remove the OEM headpipes.
If possible, elevate the motorcycle and secure it solidly in place. Remove the OEM mufflers. Set these parts
aside as they will no longer be needed.
Loosen rear header at the flange. (2 - 6mm Allen heads)
Attach two new clamps (supplied) onto each of your new Nasty Boy mufflers. Finger tighten these bolts.
Slide the lower muffler onto the end of the lower headpipe. Install mounting bolt into support bracket,
align muffler and headpipe and tighten mounting bolt (Leave clamps loose at this time).
Slide upper muffler on to loose headpipe, install mounting bolt in support bracket, align for proper
appearance and tighten upper support mounting bolt.
Tighten rear cylinder header flange bolts.
Tighten all exhaust pipe clamps.
Note: We strongly recommend the application of Loctite, or a similar material, on the threads of all bolts.
The air/fuel mixture should be adjusted for the change in exhaust flow and backpressure. For best results,
a qualified technician should perform this procedure.
Tighten all bolts/nuts after riding 100 miles, including baffle retaining screw.
For optimum performance, we suggest you install one of our xXx or Big Air Kits to increase horsepower and
torque, improve acceleration and eliminate flat spots.
