INSTRUCTIONS:

Thank you for purchasing the Baron Liner Rear Pulley Cover! Installation is reasonably simple providing you
follow the instructions below implicitly. As always, please read the instructions in full prior to installing the
product. If you feel you dont understand it, please call our tech support line, or have the product installed by a
competent technician.

NOTE: Rear wheel removal is not completely necessary, but it will make the job easier overall. Its possible to
lift the bike and drop the tire down about 4" to slip the cover in place. The pulley cover slips over the bearing
boss on the pulley side. A good suggestion is to tape both sides of the cover with low-release painters tape to
prevent scratching. Do not fold the tape over the edge as it will trap between the cover & pulley and be
impossible to remove.

1. Remove rear wheel from the motorcycle per Yamaha shop manual procedures.

2. Hold new Baron Pulley Cover onto front side of pulley. From rear of pulley, slide in place the supplied "U"
brackets over pulley spokes, aligning each one with the mounting holes on Pulley Cover. Using supplied
hardware, fasten Pulley Cover to mounting brackets and torque to approximately 8-10 ft-lbs.

3. Reinstall rear wheel onto motorcycle per Yamaha shop manual procedures.

4. Clean-up: Use window cleaner and a soft towel to clean the Pulley Cover. NOTE: Barons recommends the
use of blue Loctite or other medium-strength thread locking compound on the supplied mounting hardware. Be
careful not to scratch the face of the cover or the rear of the cover while sliding the brackets into place.

fitment may be required. Barons bears no responsibility on installation costs associated with this product.
