Step 23. Secure the long end of the vacuum assembly
to the Turbosmart BOV with the 5mm hose spring
clamp supplied. Blank off the factory vacuum/boost
line with the 6mm hose blank and secure using the
6mm hose spring clamp supplied.

Step 24. The assembled vacuum line and BOV should
look as pictured below.


Step 25. Follow steps 8 to 1 in reverse to reassemble
the intercooler. The finished installation should look as
pictured below.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

The following points should be checked if you find that your engine is
dipping below normal idle, stalling or if the BOV is functioning poorly.
Please note the following checks will cure 99% of problems experienced
with fitting your BOV.

Check that the O-ring on the base of the BOV is fitted correctly
and is in good condition.

Ensure that the BOV grub screws and lock-nuts are tightened
on the adaptor.

-

Ensure the GTiR Adaptor is fitted to the factory turbo hose and
secured with the 50mm constant tension hose clamp supplied.

-

Ensure that the intercooler assembly is reassembled correctly.

-

Ensure the vacuum hose assembly is properly connected and
secured with the 5mm hose spring clamps supplied.

-

Check the 29mm Blank is fitted on the return hose and secured
with the factory hose spring clamp.

-

Re-adjust the setting of your BOV. Please refer to your BOV
fitting instructions for further information.

IMPORTANT NOTE IF FITTING AN ATMOSPHERIC VENTING TYPE II OR III BOV
Turbosmart recommends that if using an atmospheric venting Type II or III BOV the Atmospheric Spring supplied with this
kit should be fitted to your BOV for optimum performance.

Step 1. Remove the cap of the BOV by
rotating in an anti-clockwise direction,
continue past the red indicator groove until
the cap is released -CAUTION The cap is
under spring tension, wear safety glasses
and remove with care!

Step 2. Remove the standard spring from
your BOV.



Step 3. Replace your standard spring with
the supplied yellow painted atmospheric
spring and re-assemble the BOV cap.
Refer to the maintenance instructions of
your BOV for further information if
necessary.
