Household isopropyl alcohol Adhesive Promoter
Clear household silicone
1. Remove the factory trunk lid liner if equipped. NOTE: Some C6 Models come
equipped with a satellite antenna, if your car has this it will be necessary to cut the
chrome trim over the notched area on the backside of your new panel in order to
accommodate the antenna cable. Do this by simply using a straight razor blade to
cut the trim out of the notch. Be careful not to put a cut mark in your panel.
2. You will notice two support beams in a U shape. These two beams must be
scrubbed with household isopropyl alcohol, as well as the three recessed areas.
Once cleaned apply the adhesive promoter (provided) to the two beams.
